DESCRIPTION:   \nBocce is the beloved game brought to our region by Italian immigrants—one they proudly shared with the entire community!  We’re excited to team up once again with the Grand Lodge of the Northwest – Order Sons and Daughters of Italy in America\, Cle Elum Lodge #1968\, to host our annual Bocce Tournament—a day full of fun\, food\, friendship\, and friendly competition.   This year is our 4th Annual UKC Bocce Tournament to be held on Saturday\, August 1st.  Registration and check in begins at 9am and closes at 9:30am. \nAll ages and experience levels are welcome—whether you’re a seasoned player or just curious to give it a try! \nTeams consist of two players. Entry fee is $50 per team and includes lunch for both players. There is no age limit; however\, if one player is under the age of 16\, the other player must be at least 16 years old. \n\n\nPrizes will be awarded. No experience is necessary—players of all skill levels are welcome. \nMost importantly\, the emphasis is on having FUN! 🎉 \n\n\nIf you have a regulation set of bocce balls\, please bring them.\nPallino: 4 centimeters (1.6in) in diameter; weighing 90 grams (3oz) with a 7-gram (.25oz) tolerance.\nBalls: Diameter between 106mm (41.7”) and 107mm (42.1”) (tolerance +/- 0.5 mm)\nWeight between 900gr (32oz) and 920 gr (32.5oz).\n\n\nThe tournament is in South Cle Elum at the Fireman’s Park\, 701 Main St\, South Cle Elum\, WA 98943.\n\nCome roll with us and celebrate a cherished tradition!

Coal Dusters Motorcycle Club and Pioneers of Dirt Biking: Local Legends on Two Wheels will showcase the people\, motorcycles\, photographs\, memorabilia\, and stories that helped establish our community as a hub for off-road motorcycling. \nAttendees will have the opportunity to hear firsthand accounts from local riders and pioneers who helped build the area’s off-road riding culture while exploring an exhibition featuring vintage motorcycles\, racing gear\, historic photographs\, and memorabilia. \nMore than a celebration of local history\, this event is also an opportunity to invest in our community’s future. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Ronald Community Club\, whose volunteers are responsible for maintaining Hawthorne Hall and the historic Old Ronald School. The school is in need of a new roof\, and funds raised will help preserve this treasured community landmark for generations to come. \nWhether you rode with the Coal Dusters\, remember the early days of dirt biking\, or simply appreciate local history and historic preservation\, we invite you to join us for this memorable event. \nCome celebrate our community’s riding heritage while helping preserve the places that continue to bring our community together.
